Cleaning Services

Mrs. Clean offers residential and commercial cleaning services. Below is a checklist of what is included in a regular scheduled home cleaning. For more detail about office cleaning, please visit here.

KITCHEN

  1. Run the extended duster around the whole room along the corners of the room and along the corners of the ceiling, light fixtures and blinds
  2. Make sure to dust the whole room including pictures on wall
  3. Clean windows, window frames, window sills
  4. Cabinets – top to bottom – wipe down
  5. Stove tops – remove burners if possible and wipe underneath – remove knobs if possible and clean
  6. Front door of oven – open to get to the edges – wipe handle – open bottom drawer and clean the handle and edges
  7. Counter tops – don’t forget backsplash, outlets and switch covers – make sure to move items and counter appliances and wipe clean including items – if counter is cluttered, move items in sections and clean –  Microwave – clean outside and inside – go over outside (not inside) with Windex – use degreaser for inside
  8. Refrigerator – work from top to bottom – try to remove items on top and magnets on front and side to clean completely – clean handles – open doors and wipe down sides and top
  9. Wipe down kitchen table – if glass, use windex on top and bottom  – always wipe down chairs, top and bottom of table and the table base
  10. Dishwasher – make sure to wipe front and sides (by opening door)
  11. Collect all dishes – rinse and place in dishwasher
  12. Sink – always make sure you leave the sink clean – after you’ve cleaned, make sure to wipe dry to prevent spotting – use a toothbrush around edges if necessary
  13. Washer and Dryer (laundry room) – usually not dirty on outside but will need to wipe down top and sides – use duster or rage to get between
  14. Check for all garbage and make sure we did not leave anything in room before cleaning floors
  15. Floors – check baseboards – always vacuum from the farthest part of the kitchen – mop floors completely – always pull out chairs and get under table

BATHROOMS

  1. Run the extended duster around the whole room along the corners of the room and along the corners of the ceiling, light fixtures and blinds
  2. Make sure to dust the whole room including pictures on wall
  3. Clean windows, window frames, window sills
  4. Mirrors – use windex – make sure we don’t leave streaks (very important)
  5. Counter tops – before cleaning counter tops, carefully remove or move items to clean everything – clean the items individually and place them back where they were – may want to clean an area at a time if there are a lot of items on the counter
  6. Bathroom cabinets – most are wood or painted wood – wipe down – if not wood, use windex to clean top to bottom
  7. Sinks – make sure to get faucet area good – might have to use brush around faucet and fixtures – rinse area well – please do not leave a residue
  8. Shower and tub – remove all items (shampoo, soap, etc.) and clean thoroughly – may need to use small brush to detail with shower door edges, soap dish, faucets, etc. – make sure to wipe dry to avoid spotting
  9. Toilets – make sure to clean under the rim – may need to use screen to get lines – make sure to clean outside, base and edge of the base by the floor and behind the toilet including base boards
  10. Also wipe toilet roll holder
  11. Floors – check base boards – always vacuum from the farthest part – mop floors – please do not forget to vacuum under furniture or appliances

BEDROOMS

  1. Pick up everything on floor – try to put things away in the proper place – if unsure, we can talk to customer or call office
  2. Run the extended duster around the whole room along the corners of the room and along the corners of the ceiling, light fixtures and blinds. Wipe fans and blades
  3. Make sure to dust the whole room including pictures on wall
  4. Dresser and furniture – remove items (or sections) – clean surface, sides and bottom – replace items – do not open drawers
  5. Clean windows, window frames, window sills
  6. Make the bed – tight fit – place decorative pillows carefully – clean head board
  7. Floors – check base boards – always vacuum from the farthest part – mop floors – please do not forget to vacuum under furniture

DINING ROOM, LIVING ROOM AND DEN

  1. Pick up everything on floor – try to put things away in the proper place – if unsure, we can talk to customer or call office
  2. Run the extended duster around the whole room along the corners of the room and along the corners of the ceiling, light fixtures and blinds – Make sure to dust the whole room including pictures on wall
  3. Dust and wipe all furniture AND SHELVES – pick up items and wipe down – if there are a lot of items move them in sections
  4. Table and chairs – wipe down entire table including top, sides and base – wipe down entire chair including backs and legs
  5. Clean windows, window frames, window sills
  6. Couches and upholstered chairs – vacuum on and under cushions if possible
  7. Make sure to place all pillows in place on couch or furniture
  8. Vacuum and mop around the room from left to right – move light furniture – make sure to vacuum under furniture
  9. Floors – check base boards – always vacuum from the farthest part – mop floors – please do not forget to vacuum under furniture
